The Willi-Weise project is a German voters' association .

The Willi-Weise project is organized by the New Democracy Board of Trustees . The chairman of this board of trustees is Friedrich Schönbeck . The goals of this organization are, among other things, an unconditional basic income , more direct democracy and no group pressure .

Willi Weise is a fictional character whose name should allude to the terms will and wisdom .

None of the 76 candidates in the project received a direct mandate for the 2009 Bundestag election. Only two of the 59 abgeordnetenwatch.de listed direct candidates reached in their constituency one percent of the vote or more.

In the 2013 federal election , the Willi-Weise project ran with 74 direct candidates.
