Willi Stiowicek

Willi Stiowicek (born May 21, 1956 in St. Pölten ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and civil servant. From 2005 to 2008 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After attending the commercial academy in St. Pölten, Stiowicek studied business administration with a focus on marketing and communication at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and graduated with the academic degree Mag . He then entered the service of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees for Lower Austria and was later employed by the Magistrate of St. Pölten. In 2004 he took over the management of public relations in the St. Pölten magistrate from Siegfried Nasko .

Between 1980 and 1985 Stiowicek was active as a councilor in Rabenstein an der Pielach , after which he worked from 1996 to 2006 as a councilor in St. Pölten. After Siegfried Nasko resigned, Stiowicek moved to the state parliament on December 15, 2005, from which he resigned on April 10, 2008 after the SPÖ had lost in the 2008 state elections .

Stiowicek has three children and has been chairman of the St. Pölten Animal Welfare Association since 2007.
