David L. Lindsey

David Lance Lindsey (born November 6, 1944 in Kingsville , Texas ) is an American writer of crime novels and thrillers .

Life

Lindsey grew up on the Rio Grande ; near the city of San Angelo . Among other things, he studied English literature at the University of North Texas .

In 1970, Lindsey settled in Austin . As editor he was in charge of a few smaller publishers and later founded the Heidelberg Publishers himself . During this time he also got married.

In addition to his job, Lindsey began writing himself in the late 1980s, and in 1983 he made a successful debut with his novel A cold mind . More novels followed and when these were also successful, Lindsey gave up his profession and from then on devoted himself only to writing.
