William Ironside Groombridge

William Ironside Groombridge was the first coach of Gillingham FC . He worked three times for Gillingham. The first time from 1896 to 1906, the second time from 1908 to 1919, and the third time from 1922 to 1923. The special thing about Groombridge was that he did not use the job title “secretary”, which in German meant managing director or secretary means wore.
