Wills Trophy 1992/93

The Wills Trophy 1992/93 was a three-nation tournament that was held from February 1st to 4th, 1993 in the United Arab Emirates in one-day cricket . In which the international cricket season 1992/93 belonging tournament took teams from Pakistan , Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka in part. In the final, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka with 114 runs.

prehistory

Before this competition, Zimbabwe played one tour each against India and New Zealand . Sri Lanka also hosted a tour from New Zealand . Pakistan previously played a tour in New Zealand .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played against each other once. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
