Winand Rossi
Johann Winand Josef Rossi († November 16, 1866 ) was Mayor of Schlebusch from 1823 to September 15, 1866 . He carried out his office from the Fettehenne district.
One of his achievements is the reconstruction of the Gezelinkapelle, which was demolished in 1864 . Under his chairmanship a committee was set up to collect donations for their reconstruction.
After more than 40 years of service, Rossi resigned from the mayor's office in 1866. He was succeeded by Franz Joseph Wirtz.
In memory of Rossi's achievements, a street in the southeast of Schlebusch was named after him.
