Vladimir Vasilyevich Shevchenko

Vladimir Vasilyevich Shevchenko ( Russian Владимир Васильевич Шевченко ; * 1907 , † 1996 ) was a Soviet test pilot and aircraft designer.

He delivered his most important achievements in the 1930s together with Wassili Nikitin . The two constructed a kind of collapsible biplane, the Nikitin-Shevchenko IS-1 , and their successors.
