Woizlawa
Woizlawa († 1172 , buried in Althof ) was the second wife of Pribislaw , the last prince of the Obotrites and first lord of Mecklenburg .
Woizlawa's origin is unclear. The medieval chronicler Ernst von Kirchberg assumed a Scandinavian descent, but there is no further evidence for this. Perhaps she was instrumental in founding the Doberan Monastery . Woizlawa is said to have died in childbed in 1172.
