Wojnarowski (noble family)

The Wojnarowski family was given the coat of arms described below by a Lithuanian grand duke in the 11th century. With the award, the Lithuanian Grand Duke thanked the knight Stolobot, who lived in the Principality of Siewierz, for his fight against the Tatars. The helmet decoration consists of a peacock tail.

In a red field a floating silver bar, which is bent at the ends first at right angles downwards, then arched back to its center - this coat of arms , which resembles two triangles hanging on a pole, is intended to represent the front of a Tatar tent, the one with a tall one at the top is studded with a silver arrow, the shaft of which is crossed twice.
