Poetry

Numerous poems and lyrical song texts - some in English - have been incorporated into the choir and solo songs. As a tribute to the Staufer district of Göppingen , the "Stauferland Song " was created in 2007 as a musical greeting from the Staufer district of Göppingen to singers all over the world:

We greet you from the land of the emperors, from the Stauferland on Bergeshöh'n,
surrounded by meadows, high forests and green valleys wide and beautiful.
We are also far on strange paths - in our hearts we are at home,
There is a blessing in these lands and friends come and go.
So join in, dear friends, we
shake hands with you in the song - the choir moves from the three emperor mountains out into the open country.
Our songs sound grateful, at any time, in sorrow and happiness,
because this land is our home - in our hearts and in music!
