Cloud terrace of the Juyongguan Pass
The cloud terrace of the Juyongguan Pass ( Chinese 居庸关 云台 , Pinyin Jūyōngguān Yúntái , English Cloud Platform ) is a rectangular Buddhist arcade pagoda from the time of the Mongol dynasty (Yuan dynasty), in which road traffic passed through the arch. It is located in the north of Beijing in the district of Changping located Juyongguan -Passfestung. It is made of white marble and is 9.5 meters high. It used to carry three pagodas, which are no longer preserved. It is also called Guojie ta in Chinese ("pagoda / gate pagoda built over a street").
The cloud terrace of the Juyongguan Pass has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (1-98) since 1961 .
