Wooden Coaster - Fireball for short Fireball , Chinese: 谷 木 游龙, is a wooden coaster designed by The Gravity Group in the Happy Valley near Shanghai in China . It is the first wooden roller coaster in China.

The 1164 meter long track was built by a team of local construction workers under the supervision of Martin & Vleminckx and opened on August 16, 2009. Two trains made by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters with six cars, each with two rows for two people, travel the 33 meter high route at the Lifthill at up to 90 km / h.

Centrally located in the park on a peninsula of a lake, the roller coaster has been the most popular attraction in Happy Valley since it opened. The Chinese name "谷 木 游龙" consists of the characters for valley, wood or tree, fun or flying and kite, so it has little in common with the English term "fireball". It was considered to use bamboo for the construction , as this is the wood used in the region for construction. However, since there is no experience with bamboo in the construction of roller coasters, the common pine wood (Southern yellow pine) was used.
