World Wide Wrestling Association (WWWA) is the name of a former US promotion that was based in Cleveland, Ohio. Larry Atkin and Vince McMahon were promoters .

history

The history of the promotion began in late 1962 when the promoters Atkin and McMahon decided on a jointly operated banner . A special feature was that the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, an official affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance, joined the competing National Wrestling Association as an associated promotion .

In April 1963, however, the collaboration ended again. After their last event, which took place on April 18th, the promotion was discontinued and on April 28th it was reorganized with CWC to form the new Banner World Wide Wrestling Federation .
