Word art

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The word art is a form of Dadaism , which from the voice skepticism emerged about 1900.

The literary characteristic of the Dadaists was the play with words and letters. Since in the linguistic skepticism around 1900 it was still stipulated that the world could not be represented in words, these words are now interesting as spaces of association and as sound qualities that form their own worlds in the language material.

In August Stramm's art of words , he juxtaposes nouns and verbs in the infinitive form in his poems , optically resembling the telegram style . The goal is to create word cascades that subvert all grammatical rules. Words should thus be "rolled out" ( aleatoric ) and give new meanings in new combinations.
