Wostotschny okrug ( Russian Восточный округ ; German: Eastern Administrative District ) is a free newspaper in the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow ( Russia ). The newspaper was founded in 2013. It appears in printed form and as an online edition . The printed edition is 505,000 copies. The newspaper is published by the company "Nordosten" (Russian РИЦ Северо-Восток ), editor-in-chief is Ekaterina Jurjewna Iljina (Russian Екатерина Юрьевна Ильина ).

Awards

In 2013, the newspaper took part in the competition “We provide first-hand information” (Russian Информируем из первых рук ) with the participation of the Moscow city government, where it came second in the “The best district newspaper” category (Russian Лучшая окружная газета ).
