Wurunkatte
Wurunkatte is a Hattic and Hittite god of war. His name means "king of the land" in Hattic . It is also written with the accadogram ZABABA .
Wurunkatte is one of the deities who received offerings at the Hittite KI.LAM festival . This may be due to the fact that Wurunkatte, like the throne goddess Ḫalmašuit , is associated with the ideology of kingship in Hattic traditions. In a hattic list of gods, Wurunkatte directly follows the god Telipinu (hatt. Talipinu) and comes before the goddess Ḫalmašuit (hatt. Ḫanwašuit).
