Wyoming Correctional Facility
The Wyoming Correctional Facility is a medium-security prison for men in the American state of New York . The prison is located south of the small town of Attica in County Wyoming .
The prison opened in 1985. The capacity is 1712 inmates, men aged 18 and over are admitted. It offers further education for inmates and anti-aggression training . The prisoners are supported with alcohol and drug withdrawal .
Right next door is the Attica Correctional Facility , a prison with the highest security level. The two prisons are the town's largest employers.
