XCSoar is a final approach computer with moving map for the operating systems Android , Linux , macOS , Windows and Windows CE . It was originally released as commercial software until the source code was released in early 2005. An open source community has adopted the code, improved it and developed it further.
Since then, XCSoar has received many new features, which are now in most cases comparable to the known commercial products and in some cases go beyond them.
