Daniel Graebner

Daniel Gräbner (* 1975 in Cologne ) is a German film director and film producer .

He studied 1996-2001 Film Directing film and television at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne and graduated with diploma . Daniel Gräbner then founded the production and distribution company Rif Film with the Moroccan Kamal El Kacimi in Cologne and Marrakech , through which he also produced and sold his very well-known documentary Haschisch , in which he documents the cultivation of hemp in a village in the Rif . Other important projects with Rif Film are the Palestinian feature film Pomegranates and Myrrh and the German-Moroccan episode film 24h Marrakech . In addition, he and his company brought the feature films No Science Fiction , The Newcomers and Takva, co-produced by Fatih Akın, to German cinemas.

In 2012, Gräbner founded Daniel Gräbner Filmproduktion, through which he has been developing and producing his own directing projects ever since.

Daniel Gräbner lives in Cologne.
