XSVCD

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The XSVCD is an extension of the SVCD .

As with the XVCD , the bit rates have been increased, here to 9.8 Mbit / s . These are roughly the same bit rates as with a DVD . The difference to XVCD, however, is that most DVD players can read SVCDs and can therefore also play XSVCDs.

Despite everything, the XSVCD is a format in which comparatively little film material can be stored.
