Xetra Funds

Xetra Funds is a market segment of Deutsche Börse for exchange-traded funds . It comprises both passively managed exchange-traded funds , which follow an index in their development, and actively managed funds ( Xetra Active Funds ), which can outperform the benchmark index.

Trading is supported by Designated Sponsors who provide liquidity.

Originally, securities in Xetra Funds could be admitted to the official or regulated market . Xetra Funds has been a regulated market on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since November 1, 2007 ; the approved funds must meet the requirements of a regulated market.
