Xihoudu

The village Xihoudu ( Chinese  西侯渡村 , Pinyin Xihoudu CUN ) is part of the greater community Fenglingdu the circle Ruicheng in the administrative area of the prefecture-level city Yuncheng the Chinese province of Shanxi . The Xihoudu culture excavated between 1961 and 1962 ( Chinese  西 侯 度 文化 , Pinyin Xīhóudù wénhuà , W.-G. Hsi-hou-tu wen-hua ), an early Paleolithic culture, is named after him. A faunal community of the early Pleistocene , the Xihoudu Faunal Community ( 西 侯 度 动物 群 , Xīhóudù dòngwùqún ), is named after her.
