Yūji Ōkuma ( Japanese 大熊 裕 司 , Ōkuma Yūji ; born January 19, 1969 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Ōkuma learned to play football in the school team of Bunan High School and the university team of Chūō University . He signed his first contract in 1991 with Hitachi (today: Kashiwa Reysol). The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . For the club he completed 92 games. In 1996 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . For the club he completed 50 first division games. In 1998 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . For the club he completed 21 first division games. At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
