Yamatotakeru
Yamatotakeru no mikoto ( Japanese ヤ マ ト タ ケ ル ノ ミ コ ト , Kojiki : 倭 建 命 , Nihonshoki : 日本 武 尊 ; * 72 ; † 113 ), also Yamato-o-gu-na no mikoto (Kojiki: 倭 男 具 那 命 , Nihonshoki: Nihonshoki: 倭 建 命 , Nihonshoki : 日本 武 尊 ; * 72 ; † 113 ) 日本 童男 尊 ), was the son of Keikō - tennō . His real name ( imina ) was Ousu no mikoto (Kojiki: 小 碓 命 , Nihonshoki: 小 碓 尊 ).
According to the oldest surviving historical works of the country, Kojiki and Nihonshoki, he subjugated the Kumaso in southern Kyushu in 97 and the Ezo in northern Japan in 110 , which made the unification of Japan under the Yamato government (see Yamato period ) possible.
