Ymerdrys

Ymerdrys is a food product from the Danish cuisine . These are rye bread crumbs that are intended as a supplement to ymer or other sour milk products . The crumbs are traditionally sweetened with farin , a particularly fine brown sugar, to soften the acidity of the yogurt-like ymer. However, Ymerdrys are also offered unsweetened and, in addition to their actual purpose, are also suitable for supplementing mueslis as well as boiled to a porridge with milk and z. B. consumed with fruits.
