Yukhon
Yukhon (also Youkhon ; full name Samdat Brhat-Anya Chao Yughandhara ; * in the 15th century ; † 1430 in Phadao) was king of the kingdom of Lan Chang in what is now Laos for eight months from 1429 until his death .
Yukhon was the second son of King Lam Kham Daeng (ruled 1417-1428) and succeeded his uncle, King Phommathat (ruled 1428-1429) to the throne. The relatively short reigns of the subsequent Lan Chang kings suggest massive disputes over the throne and violent seizure of the throne.
Yukhon only remained king for eight months. He fled for fear for his life and was killed in Phadao in 1430 on the orders of his aunt Nang Keo Pimpha (Keo Pumpha). He was succeeded by King Konekham (ruled 1430-1432).
