Yusuf Arslan
Yusuf Arslan (born May 31, 1990 in Erzurum ) is a Turkish painter .
life and career
Arslan started painting at the age of ten. He was admitted to art schools at an early age, but his handicap, which stems from a blood disease that had existed since birth, prevented further training. Arslan's situation had worsened, especially after a necessary brain operation. The artist is still being treated privately in a rehabilitation center in Erzurum . His doctor there encouraged him to have his first exhibition.
The renowned English-language Turkish newspaper Daily News dedicated a cover story to Arslan in 2010 for the opening of its fourth exhibition in Bodrum Municipality Square.
Honors
For exhibitions in Erzerum, Istanbul and Bodrum, the physically handicapped artist, who paints his mostly abstract pictures with his left foot, received a lot of attention from the national Turkish press at a young age.
