Zeo

Zeo (Zou) is a French animation series produced by Cyber Group Productions since 2012 , which so far contains 52 episodes and is based on the children's books by Michel Gay . The first German broadcast was on Disney Junior .

The series is about Zeo, a young anthropomorphic zebra who shows how to deal with small problems in everyday life. He is often supported by his family and friends.

Characters

Zeo: Zeo is four years old at the beginning of the series and five years later. He is characterized by his curiosity and his imagination. He is also already making plans about his future, but is often uncertain about it. For example, if he wants to become an astronaut one day, he would prefer to be a truck driver or firefighter the next day.
Poc: This little bird is Zeos' constant companion and lives in his room in a discarded cuckoo clock .
Mom and Dad: The nameless parents Zeos often help Zeo when he needs advice. You live with Zeo right in the entrance area of your house.
Grandma and Grandpa: They are the parents of Zeo's father and live on the middle floor. While Grandma often bakes cookies or knits, Grandpa helps Zeo with his projects, and he is happy to make his workshop available to him.
Great-grandma: She is the mother of Zeo's grandfather and, at over 80, the oldest member of the family who lives in the house. Her room is directly under the roof, so she has to rely on a stair lift due to her frail condition . She often gives Zeo a kiss on the cheek.
Elzee: She is the neighbor girl and a good friend of Zeos. She enters Zeo's garden by folding up the fence that separates her from Zeo's property. Her parents are almost never seen.
Zak: Zak is the little son of Mister Zoey, who owns the little shop next to Zeo's house. He's often a little gullible, but a good friend.
Zenia: She is Zeo's cousin and often quite conceited as she is a good ballet dancer and a good student. She is terrified of worms. She also often finds that Elzee is not acting girlish enough.

However, Poc does not exist in the books and Zeo only lives with his parents; his grandparents live with their great-grandmother in a different house. In the book, the great-grandmother uses a walker instead of her stick .
