Zain al Abidin Mosque (Kuwait)

The Zain-al-Abidin Mosque ( Arabic مسجد زين العابدين Masjid Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn ) is a Friday mosque in Kuwait . It is named after Imam Zain al-ʿĀbidīn , the son of al-Husain .

The mosque is located in Salmiya in the Hawalli Governorate near Kuwait City . It opened in 1977.

Ayatollah Seyyed Abu l-Qasim ad-Dibaji (أبو القاسم الديباجي), The Secretary General of the World Organization for pan-Islamic jurisprudence (World Organization of Pan-Islamic Jurisprudence; abbr. WOP-IJ), is imam at the mosque.
