Frame connector

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Zargenverbinder to the designated for gluing of mounting brackets, wooden door frames can be used. The frame parts (lining and clothing) are clamped in the miter area in the function of a screw clamp . This is done via pot holes in the wooden parts.

As an eccentric connector, the frame connector consists of a hardened steel clamp and one or two round plastic rollers (eccentric pots). When the plastic pot is rotated, the distance between the pots is reduced via an eccentric / curved path and the components are clamped. The pressing force that is necessary to enable gluing is created in the parting line.
