offer

Zentrada is referred to as "by far the largest wholesale marketplace" in Germany. Cross-assortment supply and trade activities between commercial members in Germany are carried out via the Internet marketplace Zentrada.de. The online network started on the basis of the Zentralmarkt magazine in Germany in 2002, and in 2005 expansion into other European countries began with marketplaces in France, the Netherlands, Poland and Great Britain. Since the end of 2008 there have been country versions in Italy and Hungary. Over 300,000 items from 3,000 suppliers are listed across Europe (as of March 2009). The retail network has 122,000 members (as of March 2009) and is open to all verified commercial buyers and suppliers. As a service, the members can use the magazine Zentrada.magazin, the webcast offer from Zentrada.TV and a number of community and forum functions.

Companies

Zentrada.network GmbH & CO KG is responsible for operating the network at home and abroad and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schimmel Media Verlag. This came into being in 2003 as a spin-off from Max Schimmel Verlag, today Haufe Fachmedia, and according to its own information, generates sales of over 5 million euros per year.
