Central plateau
The central plateau is the (partly informal) German translation for the following plateaus in non-German-speaking countries:
Meseta Central in Spanish speaking countries:
- in the middle of the Iberian Peninsula, see Iberian Meseta .
- in Costa Rica also called Valle Central .
Planalto in Portuguese-speaking countries:
- the plateau in central Brazil
New Zealand:
- the Central Volcanic Plateau is often referred to as the Central Plateau in German-speaking countries .
