Central Association of Zoological Companies in Germany

The Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe eV (ZZF), founded in 1947, is an amalgamation of several hundred member companies from pet retail, animal wholesaling and industry and is based in Wiesbaden .

tasks

It represents the professional, economic and socio-political interests of its members and provides targeted information about the economic and legal framework for the pet industry in Germany.

Since then, the promotion of animal welfare in the pet trade, education about animal welfare and commitment to nature and species protection have been among the most important tasks of the association.

The ZZF is the publisher of the association magazine Zoologischer Zentral Anzeiger (zza) and organizer of the largest international pet fair Interzoo and was the organizer of the German zoo trade fair .

A milestone in the promotion of education and training is a work published at Interzoo 2008 (see literature). It will be continued and further additions and subsequent deliveries are planned.
