Center for Environmental Communication Osnabrück
The Center for Environmental Communication of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (ZUK) is a non-profit company with limited liability owned by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt based in Osnabrück .
Environmental communication
The ZUK supports the implementation of innovations in environmental protection through target group-specific communication and carries out communicative environmental projects itself. Examples of such projects are the information campaign for the energetic refurbishment of single and two-family houses “Refurbish your house - benefit!” And the communicative implementation of the UN Decade of Biological Diversity in Germany.
Environmentally oriented conference center
The ZUK operates event and exhibition rooms for environmentally-related conferences and congresses for up to 199 people. The center for environmental communication is a pioneer in the field of green meetings. In 2010, the European Association of Event Centers awarded it a special “ benchmark ” prize for an overall ecological concept.
Interactive traveling exhibitions on environmental issues
The Center for Environmental Communication also designs and presents interactive traveling exhibitions on environmental issues for the DBU. So far seven exhibitions have been realized:

- FasziNatur - discover nature
- Inspiration nature - patent workshop bionics
- WasserWissen - the wonderful world of water
- Climate workshop - environmental experiments for futurologists
- T-shirts, bags and surfactants - the exhibition on sustainable chemistry
