Center for Social Development and Self-Help Perspective

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Center for Social Development and Self-Help Perspective is a partner organization of Russia Aid e. V. based in Moscow .

The Russia Aid e. V., on the other hand, was founded in Germany in 1990 by Ms. Anne S. Hofinga when many people were in need after the collapse of the Soviet Union . It is financed by donations from Germany, Austria and Switzerland .

Most of the projects supervised by the Perspective Center are based on the principle of helping people to help themselves or independence. For this reason, more and more projects are being funded whose long-term goal is to work independently and not have to rely on donations. Such projects would be, for example, training workshops, further training programs for (learning-poor) orphans and social orphans as well as jobs for severely disabled young adults.

Another aim of the center is to support new, innovative and socially meaningful projects in the initial phase, to accompany them in the further course and to coordinate or network various projects with one another and thus offer the opportunity to exchange information and experience.

An Austrian service abroad can be completed at the center.
