A Zoche or Zogge is a specific type of a light wooden plow , which in East Prussia and Lithuania in particular before the introduction of the iron plow by Frederick William I was in use.

This swing plow has a two-part ploughshare , which stands on the two arms of a hook board split in the middle. It has a long leg (a kind of tiller ) and two slightly sloping legs (handles) attached to the rear of the same, with cross handles at the top. The plow tree has practically developed into a forked drawbar.

The East Prussian farmers were initially not satisfied with the iron plows. The cow worked better on the karst soil .
