Zoilus I.
Zoilus I was an Indo-Greek king of the second century BC. BC, which so far is only known from its coins .
His coins were found in the Hindu Kush and Afghanistan , which should represent his approximate area of rule. Its chronological classification is controversial; in older research it was set after Menandros (approx. 150 to 130 BC), but there are two coins of Zoilus I that were overminted by Menandros, so that Zoilus I was perhaps a contemporary and even an opponent. On his coins Zoilus I is referred to as Dikaios ("the righteous"). They show his portrait on the front, and Heracles often with inscriptions in Kharoshthi on the back .
