The Zugerbergbahn (ZBB) is a funicular in the canton of Zug . It leads from Zug to the Zugerberg (926 m above sea level). A journey takes around 6 minutes and 80 passengers can be carried per car.

The cable car was opened on May 14, 1907 and has been modernized several times since then: in 1931 the first generation wagons were replaced, the route overhauled from 1950 to 1952, the Schönegg valley station replaced in 1960 and the Zugerberg mountain station and drive rebuilt from 1970 to 1971. The third, red generation of cars was introduced in 1984 in connection with a further route renovation. In 1992 the system was rebuilt in such a way that it could be controlled by one person; 1997 was switched to automatic driving. Since the conversion of the valley and mountain stations and the commissioning of the fourth, silver-colored car generation with a panoramic roof in 2009, the Zugerbergbahn has been wheelchair-accessible.

In 2005 the Zugerbergbahn AG carried 432,566 passengers. Which is responsible for the management Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe AG (ZVB) responsible.
