To the Kripplein Christi (Bergern)
The Protestant village church Zum Kripplein Christi is located in the Bergern district of the city of Bad Berka in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish of Bad Berka in the Weimar parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
history
The small village church was set up in a sheepfold on the estate from 1693 . The separate entrance for the landlord was created on the north side for the mansion's box .
In 2008 the American painter Matt Lamb painted the interior of the church with young people from Bad Berka and Bergern with financial support from near and far.
The house today
The church is used for church services and culture from spring to autumn.
