1924 stamp catalog: edition of 7

The Zumstein catalogs are stamp catalogs from Switzerland with an international reputation. They have been published regularly since the beginning of the 20th century and are an important reference work among Swiss philatelists .

The Zumstein catalogs are issued by the Swiss company Zumstein & Cie from Bern . Its issuing program includes stamp catalogs on Swiss stamp issues as well as the catalogs "Europe West" and "Europe East". These stamp catalogs are revised and supplemented annually.

The Zumstein catalogs go back to the philatelist Ernst Zumstein (1880–1918). In 1905 he founded the Zumstein postage business and from 1907 published the magazine Philatelistische Börsennachrichten . This is still published today under the name Berner Briefmarken-Zeitung since 1915 . Two years later, in 1909, Ernst Zumstein published a special catalog for Switzerland for the first time. This was the beginning of the history of the Zumstein catalog.

The Zumstein catalogs appear bilingually in German and French .
