The co-existence is the way, exist in living creatures, provided they in relation to one another. It is the subject of sociology and other social sciences .

The term is mostly used when talking about human life contexts or those in which people are involved. For example, forms of institutionalized and non- institutionalized coexistence can be distinguished. One of the most common forms of human coexistence is the permanent connection of sexual partners in unions ( partnerships , marriages ).

But coexistence is also possible with other living beings, but is usually called differently: ectosymbiosis , symbiosis , couple bond .
