Delivery (Austria)

The term service in the legal sense refers to the disclosure of a document to a specific addressee in a specific, legally prescribed form. The delivery system is regulated in the Delivery Act. The Code of Civil Procedure contains partially different provisions .

Cross-border deliveries in the European Union are subject to special provisions due to the Delivery Ordinance of May 29, 2000. This delivery regulation applies to delivery services with almost all EU member states. Denmark is exempt due to an exemption.
