Polunbi catalog

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Polunbi is the abbreviation for "Central Police Station to Fight Lascivious Pictures, Writings and Advertisements at the Prussian Police Headquarters in Berlin".

The so-called Polunbi catalog published by her from 1920 , more precisely the “list of the documents confiscated and rendered unusable on the basis of Section 184 of the Reich Penal Code , as well as those suspected of being indecent”, was a semi-official list of indexed documents during the Weimar Republic . From the 2nd edition onwards, not only indexed writings are listed, but all writings against which Polunbi acted with a note stating whether the work was finally withdrawn or released again.
