Pygmy goat

The West African pygmy goat ( Capra aegagrus hircus ) is a breed of domestic goat .

It probably originally came from Asia, from where it came to Africa. It was first domesticated in the Middle East in the 7th millennium BC because of its meat and skin - dwarf goats produce very little milk. The first copies were introduced to Europe in the middle of the 17th century . Pygmy goats grow to be around forty to fifty centimeters tall. A fully grown goat weighs about twenty to thirty kilograms. They are available in brown, gray, white and black, but most animals have a piebald coat.
