The Acura RLX is an upper middle class automobile model . The luxury sedan has been manufactured by Acura , a Honda brand , since 2013 . In Japan , an identical version is sold as the Honda Legend . Both models are built in Sayama, Japan .
history
The Acura RLX is the successor to the Acura RL . The Acura RLX Concept concept vehicle was unveiled on April 4, 2012 at the New York International Auto Show . The production vehicle was officially presented at the LA Auto Show 2012 and has been on sale since mid-March 2013. In 2017, the facelift of the RLX was formally presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey , California .
