The Acura CDX is an SUV from the Honda- owned Acura brand that has been built and sold in China since 2016 . It is based on the same platform as the Honda HR-V .
history
The vehicle was formally presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2016 and has been on sale in China since the end of July 2016. The SUV is produced in Guangzhou . In April 2017, the Acura Vice President announced that a sale in the United States is possible and is currently under review. Acura presented a revised version of the CDX at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show. In addition, the CDX has since been offered with the hybrid drive from the Honda CR-V .

The car is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder petrol engine that has a maximum output of 134 kW (182 hp) and is also used in the tenth generation of the Honda Civic . The CDX is available with front or all-wheel drive and an 8-speed dual clutch transmission . The top speed is electronically limited to 210 km / h. In the hybrid model, the combustion engine has a maximum output of 107 kW and the electric motor 135 kW. The system output is given as 158 kW.
