Arthur Quenzer
Arthur Quenzer (born October 20, 1905 in New York City , † January 29, 1986 in Gardnerville , Nevada ) was an American songwriter who was nominated twice for the Oscar for best song at the Academy Awards in 1939 .
Life
Quenzer only worked on a few Hollywood films as a songwriter , but was nominated twice for the Oscar for best song at the 1939 Academy Awards , on the one hand with Lionel Newman for the theme song of the same name from the film Mein Mann, der Cowboy (1938) and on the other hand with Phil Charig for the title song of the same name of the film How we live happily! (1938).
He also wrote the lyrics for songs for Disney movies Dumbo and (1941) Cheerful, fun free (1947), who also titled brave Disney heroes and in a heavily edited version under the title of Mickey, Donald & Goofy in Wonderland became known .
