Birdman or Baby (born February 15, 1969 in New Orleans , Louisiana ; real name Bryan Williams ) is an American rapper and CEO of Cash Money Records . According to Forbes 2016 has Birdman a fortune of 150 million USD , making it the fourth richest hip-hop artist.

Career

In 1991 Bryan Williams founded Williams Cash Money Records with his brother Ronald "Slim" . The releases of BG , Hot Boyz , Juvenile and many others made the label one of the most important in the southern United States. Birdman's own voice was first heard on the Hot Boyz albums before he founded the group Big Tymers together with cash-money producer Mannie Fresh and with them released several albums from 1997 that are now considered Dirty South classics.

His first solo album Birdman was released in 2002 and reached number 24 on the Billboard charts. As a result, he helped to develop a shoe collection for the Lugz company , was the narrator in the video game Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition and had an appearance in the film Beauty Shop . His second album Fast Money was released three years after his debut and reached 9th place on the Billboard charts. In 2006 he collaborated with Lil Wayne on the album Like Father, Like Son , which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard charts.

In 2007 the album 5 Star Stunna was released , which reached number 18 on the Billboard charts. The single Pop Bottles was awarded a platinum record in the USA in 2007. The following year he released The New Cash Money, a joint album with Brisco and Birdman Jr. (Lil Wayne). In 2009, the album Priceless was released , which reached number 33 on the Billboard charts. The single Always Strapped , released in March 2009, received a gold record and the single Money to Blow , released in November of the same year, went platinum. In 2010, the single was in the UK I Made It (Cash Money Heroes) by Kevin Rudolf published in the next Birdman and Jay Sean participated and Lil Wayne. It reached number 37 in the UK charts. In 2011, Birdman released the album Bigger Than Life .
