The Border Field State Park is a California state park includes on the southern border of California to Mexico, the beach and coastal habitats. The park is located in San Diego County on the Imperial Beach area . At the southern end of the park is the border with Tijuana in Mexico. The park is part of a larger protected area of the Tijuana River , the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge .
The park is frequently visited as the most south-westerly point of California and the advancing border security with Mexico.
