Brad Frisselle
Bradley "Brad" Friselle (born July 21, 1948 in Midland ) is a former American car racing driver and racing team owner and the father of Burt and Brian Frisselle .
Career
Brad Frisselle has been active in North American sports car racing both as a driver and as a racing team owner . He started several times in the Daytona 24-hour race and the Sebring 12-hour race . He had his only appearance in Europe in 1978 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans , where he entered for Robert Kirby , John Hotchkis and a Chevrolet Monza . The car had to be parked after only 30 laps. The engine had become too hot due to insufficient cooling.
His greatest success in an individual race was winning the 12-hour race at Sebring in 1977 , together with George Dyer in a Porsche Carrera RSR. In 1978 he won the Talladega 6-hour race , a race in the World Sports Car Championship . Teammate in the Porsche 935 was Peter Gregg .
